Social constructivist pedagogy places emphasis on collaboration but technology in education still focuses heavily on content. It is collaboration on that content that cements learning and there are wide arrays of ICT tools that support collaboration beyond the classroom. However, which ones to use and in which context to use them? And, how can we be surer that learning is robust when undertaken online? This seminar will explore these questions, examine the tools and the whole concept of online learning.
